Go to the preferences panel and click on External links. There, in “Blending Software” you can specify which external blending software you want to use. This software must comply with the Enblend command line options or the “SmartBlend”.
- Open the render dialog and choose a render Image type (except Cubical). Choose a TIFF type and go to the Image Options panel and select, Use strip, Multi-Tiff and Use blending software options.

Warning:
When you use this option a terminal window opens. Please wait until the end of the process. In Mac, the terminal window is running in the background and you have to manually close the terminal application at the end of the process.
How to set your Temporary Files?
- Go to the Preferences panel and click on External links. There you can specify where you want your temporary files (created by the Multi-Tiff mode) to be saved.
