First, delete the Preferences files:
in PC: C:Document and settings:XXX:Application data:realviz:stitcher where XXX is your user name
in MAC: remove all the files in the User/xxx/library/Preferences/Realviz/Stitcher directory where XXX is your user name.
The other possible reasons are:
- The same QTVR pano is currently open. Close it. Or the Preview QuickTime is active (the mouse is on the file.mov).
- Maybe the codec used by default in the render box is not installed. Try changing the codec or re-install QTVR from the Apple website, in order to get the latest codecs.
- Your disk is too fragmented. Try un-fragmenting it.
- This could also be caused by non-standard or special characters in the file path of the project file. Make sure that there are no folders inside of which your project is saved that have special control characters in them like: & # * % ! “ / < > | Also, avoid accented letters and SPACES.
- Avoid file names with more than 20 characters.
- Try reducing the resolution of the Panorama in pixels and see what happens. It could be a memory problem.
- Try also to re-boot the machine and Start only Stitcher before making the render.
- Try to set the Memory cache of the input images to 0% in the Preferences-Memory before making the render.
- You use 16 bits images. QTVR does not support it. Transform your images to 8 bits and it should work fine (for 3.5 users). In v4/v5 there is a warning.
- It can happen if you work with a duplicated Stitcher project. If you work with the original, it should not happen.
